Super-40

Super 40 is an initiative of the Samba Brigade of the Indian Army to help local students in the entrance tests for joining the Armed Forces. Students are invited for a screening test and 40 students are selected for focused guidance and coaching.

About Super 40

Students studying in Class 12 appear for the written test for getting admission to the prestigious National Defence Academy (NDA). Students in the final year of graduation courses appear for the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDSE) and the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT). Students clearing these written tests are further trained for the Service Selection Board (SSB). Regular lectures for Mathematics, Science, Social Sciences, English and Current Affairs are conducted at the Army facility for the students. 15 students for CDSE/AFCAT SSB and 8 students for NDA SSB were also invited by the Army from nearby colleges. These students were trained for the SSB by conducting sessions on group discussion, communication and personality development. Aseem is helping the Super40 initiative by arranging for subject experts from Pune who conduct lectures on weekends through video conferencing. Aseem also arranged SSB guidance sessions by a soft-skills trainer from Jammu and a psychologist from Pune at Samba.
