HOME FOR JAMMU-KASHMIR & LADAKH FRIENDS
Since 2010, Aseem Foundation has been supporting students from Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh by providing access to quality education, exposure and opportunities in Pune.
The journey began with two students from the Kashmir Valley pursuing higher education while staying with Aseem. In 2014, three girls from Ladakh joined the initiative, and by 2016, Aseem was supporting ten students from Leh, Kargil and Kashmir.
In 2017, the initiative expanded to include school-going students from the Kashmir Valley, who were enrolled in reputed schools across Pune. In 2021, the Northern Command of the Indian Army entrusted Aseem Foundation with hosting eight students from remote villages near the Line of Control in North Kashmir.
Aseem also shares a long-standing association with Druk Padma Karpo School, through which students from Ladakh regularly come to Pune for educational opportunities.
