Abhilasha & Exchange Tours

For many students in remote and border regions, career choices are often limited by lack of exposure rather than lack of talent. Abhilasha bridges this gap by connecting students of Classes VIII, IX and X with accomplished professionals from across India through interactive online sessions. Students get an opportunity to interact directly with experts, ask questions, and discover career paths they may never have imagined before.

Over the years, Abhilasha has reached more than 3,000 students from 100+ schools across Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura and Maharashtra. Sessions have covered a wide range of fields including Medicine, Engineering, Photography, Law, Civil Services, Armed Forces, Entrepreneurship, Technology and many more. By helping students dream bigger and make informed choices, Abhilasha empowers them to confidently shape their own future.

The initiative is further strengthened by connecting students with mentors who provide ongoing guidance and support through phone and email interactions, helping them make informed career decisions.

Sometimes, seeing a new world is all it takes to transform a young person’s aspirations. Aseem Foundation’s Educational Exchange Tours bring students from remote border regions to cities like Pune and Mumbai, exposing them to educational institutions, industries, innovation hubs, cultural experiences and inspiring role models. These journeys help students discover opportunities beyond their immediate surroundings and encourage them to aim higher in life. More than 200 students from Ladakh, Kashmir and Nagaland have participated in these life-changing tours.

During the unrest in Kashmir in 2016, Aseem also hosted over 50 students in Pune through special short-term schooling programs, ensuring they could continue their education and prepare for board examinations despite the challenging circumstances.

Regular Science Workshops and Science Quizzes are conducted to nurture curiosity, strengthen scientific thinking, and encourage students to explore concepts beyond textbooks through hands-on learning and healthy competition. These programs help develop problem-solving skills, innovation, teamwork, and a deeper interest in STEM subjects.
